Highlights from the Grease 2 Sing-along - OUTFEST 2010
For all of those that weren't able to attend, just some updates:
Leif (Davey Jaworski) Green attended and we were very fortunate to have spent the evening with him, reminiscing about the film. I pray that Paramount does a new dvd with commentary because Leif has all the stories! One great tidbit he shared was a cut scene, where he pays Michael to do his homework. The line when something like this:
Davey: "Don't tell anyone."
Michael: "Why do you have a rep to protect?"
Davey: "How'd you know?"
Classic!
Adrian (Johnny Nogerelli) Zmed sent along the following message for the fans:
"To all you TBirds and Pink ladies " I think we could all use a little guaranteed (whistle whistle) all the way action" and Johnny hopes you all Score Tonight!"

And the night was extra special because Melissa Caulfield was there representing her father, Maxwell Caulfield. Maxwell you see, is in Europe doing a play with Juliet! Melissa was so nice, so thrilled to be there and told a great story of Maxwell's audition for the film. So just before he did his reading, the studio decided he needed to look the part, so they went and got him a jacket. Turns out it was John Travolta's original T'Bird jacket from Grease! In the pocket...he found a love note from Danny to Sandy. Can you just die?! How exciting is that!
Melissa brought along her very own Cool Rider (photos coming soon), who spent time meeting and greeting all the fans, posing for photos and just being well.....Cool!

This past Oscar Sunday night was a most incredible moment for most Grease 2 fans! During the presentation of Best Animated Short Film, they ran the clip for Logorama. We got national coverage as the clip shown featured Ronald McDonald jumping on the Grease 2 motorcycle and blazing through town! Needless to say my phone went nuts. June 11 - Happy Birthday Grease 2
Happy Birthday to our beloved little film we have all loved and cherished
for the past 27 years. On this day (which was a Friday in 1982) 27 years
ago, I was so excited to see what would become my favorite movie of all
time, Grease 2. I remember my dad (R.I.P.) took me and my entire family
to the 7:35 showing to the theatre up on Brookhurst (no longer there.) I
fell in love instantly and was back the very next morning and watched
it 3 times that day. The day after that I got the soundtrack. My universe
was complete! I'll never forget this day. So a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY Grease
2, thank you for changing my life!

She will always be in our hears and be forever missed.
Our East Coast correspondent, Lori, had the chance to meet with Lorna once again at her performance at the Haugh Performance Center, in Glendora, CA in April. This time Lori brought a little suprise! You see Lori is the lucky owner of Lorna's original Pink Ladies jacket from Grease 2 and brought it along with her to have it autographed. Lorna was so lovely to pose and model it for us, that we just had to share with all the fans!

1st off, I want to pay notice to Michelle's come back into the world of film. Welcome back Ms Zinone, you were greatly missed.
Michelle started out the summer with the release of Hairspray! I was very fortunate to attend the premiere and it was amazing. The Director announced her and introduced her as the "star of Grease 2!" It was fantastic!
Then in August, she appeared on Inside the Actor's Studio and our very own Pat Birch stopped by to say hello. This was shown on the Bravo Network, hopefully they will rerun the special one day. As well, she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! All I have to say is its about darn time! Later August, Michelle's 2nd film of 2007, Stardust was released to great reviews!
November is almost upon us and her 3rd film of the year, I Can Never Be Your Woman is set to be released very soon. Here's to her continued success!
Maxwell's new home in Chicago on Broadway!
Our leading man, Mr. Caulfield is heading to Broadway! Maxwell will join the Broadway company of Kander and Ebb's Chicago in November. Caulfield, who played Billy Flynn in the London production of Chicago this past May, will repeat his work as the slick lawyer for Broadway audiences beginning Nov. 19, according to Telecharge.com. The actor will stay with the production through Dec. 2. (from Broadway.com) Check it out!

Sadly just las December, we lost one of our greatest songwriters in US History of music, Mr. Dennis Linde. Mr Lynde wrote Burning Love for Elvis Presley and Goodbye Earl for the Dixie Chicks. His career spanned from the 50's when he wrote songs for Elvis, Roy Orbison and the Everly Brothers. In his Repertoire was also Cool Rider and Reproduction for our movie, Grease 2. I dont know if the DVD is going to be any different but Amazon has a photo of the new DVD art up, this is baffling me to say the least.
Well over the past few weeks, I have met some great folks online and one of them happens to be a fella by the name of DJ Potatoe. This brilliant Greaser, has so beautifully recomposed my 3 favorite Grease 2 songs into 8bit Nintendo-esque songs. We sat down with DJ Potatoe for a quick interview to talk about his inspiration.

Sally Struthers, Adrian Zmed and Vicki Lewis are among the stars set for the first season of California's new Valley Musical Theatre. A variety of shows and concerts will be presented at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood in 2006.
Updates for June 19th, 2006
Well today from 5:30 am until 5:30 pm, I spent my time doing updates for everyone as promised. To begin with, I did alot of behind the scenes coding to make this site as web accessible and functional as possible. But the main thing I did today was recreate, from scratch, the entire Photoshoots Gallery . I had been getting emails from a few fans saying that the section was not loading for them. So I wiped the slate clean and started over. I started so far over, I spent hours today enhancing every single photo, and even added in a few new shots as well. So please take a moment to visit and enjoy your stay!

April 22, 2006 - Site Updates / Leif's AIDS walk production /Maureen's "Time Flies" / Craig's NYC Grease 2 Extravaganza
Well for starters, I've put in about 20 hours in the last 2 days retro-fitting more than half of the site to be accessible and visible on all computers. I am working my way down my list. It has been a very uphill climb but I am at the point where I can actually see the foothills below. I can't wait! I realize this isn't visible to most people, but anyone with a screen reader well tell you that it actually works now.
Leif Green just recently emailed me and he has been in NYC for about 4 months now, as the Event Director for the AIDS Walk in NYC. Here is a link to the site in case you are interested in walking for the cause: AIDS WALK
Maureen Teefy also recently contacted me and she is in a new play "Time Flies" which opens today in Santa Monica, CA.

This site is dedicated to that movie we all know and love, Grease 2. Never given it's due by critics, it has become a cult classic after 20 years! Here we celebrate its wonderfulness.
June 11th, 2002 marked its 20 Year Anniversary and we all hoped and prayed Paramount made some sort of tribute effort, even though they never have. Excelsior High School in Norwalk, Ca (where the movie was filmed) held its annual Alumni Picnic and again, I gave location shot tours for all fans attending! This year the picnic was held on Saturday, June 29th. Thank you to all who attended!
I hope you enjoy your time here. It has given me great pleasure to see it come full circle. So without further delay, grab your leather jackets, your bowlin' ball and your cycle cuz it's time to get Greased!
